Who We Are

Raising a generation of girl athletes who compete with confidence.

The Elite Competitor exists to raise a generation of girl athletes who compete with confidence, resilience, and joy. We run two brands: Raising Elite Competitors, which serves the sports moms raising them, and Coach Her Game, which equips the coaches developing them.

We're a fast-growing online business with a community of sports families who have seen what mental training does for their kids and want more of it. Our programs have reached thousands of athletes across the country and the demand keeps growing. We move fast, operate lean, and hold a high standard because the girls we serve deserve it.

If you want work that matters and you can point to a specific moment a piece of content you created helped a girl believe in herself more, this role is for you.

The Role

You are our social and content department.

We're looking for a Content & Social Promotion Lead to own the full lifecycle of content and promotion for both brands, from evergreen weekly content to high-stakes live launch campaigns.

The person we're looking for owns outcomes, not task lists. You work directly with Coach Bre to bring our content, email marketing, and launch strategy to life across every channel. You are our social and content department, supported by a video editor and a virtual assistant for scheduling, and you own the strategy, creation, and execution yourself.

You are the person who makes sure the right content reaches the right audience at the right time, every week, and especially during launches.

What You'll Own

Three areas of ownership, end to end.

01 Promotion Planning

  • Co-create the yearly promotion calendar and weekly content topic plan with Coach Bre
  • Make sure every piece of daily content and every call to action connects to the promotion plan and growth strategy
  • Spot gaps and optimizations in the content cadence before they become problems

02 Social & Content Creation

  • Research and propose podcast and YouTube video topics; get Coach Bre's sign-off before moving forward
  • Write first-draft video scripts built on approved topics, Coach Bre's proven frameworks, core message pillars, and mental training curriculum; submit for approval before recording
  • Work with the video editor to cut long-form video into short-form reels and YouTube Shorts
  • Create reels, carousels, and static posts for organic content across both brands each week
  • Create daily social stories
  • Set up weekly content task buckets in ClickUp, assign to teammates, and track due dates through to completion
  • Approve video edits and social content created by others on the team
  • Monitor and respond to social comments and DMs; manage AgoraPulse ad comments
  • Research social trends every week and put them to work, not just observe them
  • Track social performance metrics and bring forward the insights that actually change what we do next
  • Consolidate weekly newsletter content from Coach Bre and schedule

03 Launch Planning & Support

  • Learn each launch strategy before the campaign starts and bring ideas and best practices to the table early
  • Use internal tools to draft landing page copy, sales page copy, and other launch assets for Coach Bre's review
  • Build the promotion email plan by audience segment, covering event fill-up, sales, and downsell sequences
  • Write promotion email drafts; Coach Bre approves final copy
  • Build the social media promotion plan by launch phase
  • Create and schedule all promotional social content throughout the launch
  • Jump in where needed: webinar support, inbox triage, coordination between Coach Bre, the tech team, ManyChat, and other teammates

Who You Are

You own the outcome — not the task list.

You have been in the trenches of at least one sizeable live launch for an online business, owning the email and social content plans and writing the copy that had to convert. You know what that pressure feels like and you have results to show for it, not just a description of what you did.

You love social media the way people who actually love it do. You're on the platforms, watching what moves, noticing what doesn't, testing formats before they go mainstream. You build content that gets people to take action, not content that fills a grid.

You write well and you can shift between the warm, direct voice of a sports mom audience and the credibility-forward tone of a professional coaching audience. You're not precious about first drafts. You take feedback, adjust fast, and keep moving.

You don't need a task list built for you every morning. You see what needs to happen, do it, and speak up when something is off track or needs a decision. You coordinate with a video editor, a virtual assistant, a tech team, and an automation specialist and you never lose your sense of ownership over the outcome.

Our Culture — How We REIGN

With our core values, our team and athletes REIGN.

Run It.

You own what's yours, follow through without being chased, and fix your mistakes without excuses.

Elevate the Room.

You add energy, warmth, and optimism. No drama, no defensiveness, just trust and honest conversations when they matter.

Innovative & Scrappy.

We think smart and move fast. Progress over perfect. Creative problem-solving is our default.

Girls Win, We Win.

Every decision filters through one question: does this help raise unstoppable girl athletes? Impact over vanity metrics, always.

No Ceiling.

We think big, believe it's possible, and show up as ourselves. Authenticity over perfection. Your voice matters here.

If you read that list and thought that's exactly how I operate, keep reading.

Required Qualifications

What you'll need.

  • Proven experience as part of at least one sizeable live launch for an online business, whether a course launch, membership launch, or live event, owning the email and social content plans and copy; share results, not just a list of what you did
  • Strong copywriting skills across email, social, and landing page formats
  • Hands-on experience creating short-form social content including reels, carousels, and stories, not just directing others who do
  • A track record of finding social trends and actually using them
  • Experience working inside a content calendar and a project management system; ClickUp experience is a plus
  • Clear written communication and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball

Nice to Haves

Bonus points.

  • Background working with a women's health, parenting, coaching, or sports-adjacent brand
  • Familiarity with ManyChat or similar chat marketing platforms
  • Experience writing for both a consumer audience and a professional B2B audience
  • Video script writing experience for YouTube or podcast
  • Comfort using AI tools as a drafting and production accelerator
  • Experience with Kit, Kajabi, AgoraPulse, ManyChat, or Meta Business Suite

Engagement Details

Built around output, not hours.

This is a contractor role, remote and flexible, structured around output rather than hours. We run on launch cycles, so some stretches are high-intensity and others are steadier. Compensation is on an hourly basis and determined based on experience and the expertise you bring to the job.

We are a small team and we hire deliberately. We onboard thoroughly, we give people real ownership, and we expect the same in return.
